Prof. Dr. Matei Chihaia

Matei Chihaia has been Professor of Romance Literature at Wuppertal University (Bergische Universität Wuppertal) since April 2010. He has been a visiting professor at Regensburg University (2006), Cologne University (2007), the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Sede Quito (2013), and the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (2016), as well as a Heisenberg Scholar of the German Research Foundation (2007-2010). Since 2011, he has been coeditor of DIEGESIS ‒ Interdisciplinary E-Journal for Narrative Research and since 2015 on the editorial advisory board of the journal Romanische Forschungen.
